Picture this:
Someone makes an announcement of some great achievement of victory in their life and they want to share this with their friends and loved ones. And then some self centered person steals the spotlight from that person by saying 'aren't you glad I talked you into trying out for that or I am so glad you did as I recommended". So now the focus has switched from the victor to Mr. Self Center. I really hate those kind of people!
